What we stand for

We measure the moment. Never the person.

Measurement that touches recipient data has to hold up to a board, a CFO, a privacy reviewer. Every commitment below is enforced in code, contract, or operating rhythm.

What we won’t trade off

Commitments. Each a strategic choice.

The choices that shape what SweetNote is, and what it never becomes.

Independence

Defensible third-party data your board can stand behind.

Show detail

Revenue is brand-paid research: priced per study, not per subscription. We measure for brands; recipients are the data subjects we protect, the same structural separation that makes Nielsen, ESOMAR, and MRC credible. We also never print, fulfill, or sell what you send — with no stake in the gift, the print run, or the postage, there is nothing for the data to flatter. The honest read is the product. What you get: independent measurement that procurement, finance, and legal can all defend. The optional outcome layer reinforces this: the brand’s payment processor supplies the verified transaction record; SweetNote, as the neutral third party, performs the attribution. The brand supplies the join key; the processor supplies the truth.

Fits your existing process

Add it to the gifting program you already run.

Show detail

No rip-and-replace. Keep the fulfillment tools you already use (Goody, Sendoso, Bonusly, your print shop, or your own shipping); the SweetNote QR drops onto whatever you’re already sending. Engagement signals are documented to flow to the tools your team already lives in (a webhook destination you configure), keyed by an anonymous code, so your privacy review can run ahead of delivery; your results export on demand as CSV per the DPA, with direct CRM connectors on the integrations roadmap. What you get: the measurement layer slots into your stack instead of replacing it. And no exclusive deals, ever: a cross-tenant benchmark is only credible when we stay independent of any single platform or vendor.

Privacy by architecture

One privacy architecture, every US state.

Show detail

Two capture-side commitments, both code-enforced. A disclosed lawful basis for every event: opening the reveal and pressing play are counted for every recipient (aggregate-only, no name attached in any output, on a legitimate-interest basis); a reaction tap or CTA click is the recipient’s own affirmative action. Only how far someone watches the video (the continuous watch-depth measurement) waits for opt-in, captured solely for recipients who tap “Count me in.” Global Privacy Control suppresses watch-depth, reactions, and CTA clicks alike, and recipients can request pseudonymization any time. Zero biometric capture: no facial-expression inference, voice-tone analysis, or eye tracking, ever; sentiment is the three-tap reaction only. Because the architecture captures no biometric data and emits only aggregate, consent-first signals, it's built to support compliance with US state consumer-privacy law: CCPA/CPRA in California, BIPA in Illinois (there's no biometric data to regulate), and every comprehensive US state consumer-privacy law now in force (the full named list is in our Privacy Policy). What you get: one architecture that operates the same way in every US state, designed so privacy review is a single architecture review at onboarding rather than a per-study or state-by-state exercise. Your compliance still depends on the data you upload and how you use the platform; this isn't legal advice. Global expansion (UK, EU, Canada) is on the post-launch roadmap alongside SOC 2 Type 1 attestation.

Same price for every brand

The price is published. No quote cycle, no redlines.

Show detail

One per-study formula, published on the pricing page; the published list price is identical for every brand at the same study size. The per-recipient curve is published, so no per-brand negotiated pricing, no redlined contracts beyond jurisdiction-required compliance language. The MSA and DPA are standardized and public, readable before you ever sign up. What you get: no quote cycle and no sales-call gate: scope a study on the calculator, see the exact price, and decide on your own time, with 15 minutes with the founder if you want one. Fairness here isn’t a courtesy, it’s what keeps the cross-tenant research credible: every brand priced the same way removes any suspicion that the data favors whoever paid more.

Aggregate-only output, every surface

Get the patterns. Without the privacy liability.

Show detail

SweetNote’s output suppresses sub-floor cuts. You see rates and patterns across cohorts; per-recipient drill-down doesn't exist in SweetNote’s own output because it isn't a feature. The floor gates the figures we compute, not your counts: no rate, percentage or confidence interval publishes on any cell holding fewer than 25 recipients — at the campaign level or inside a filtered cut — while the counts themselves stay visible, because they are your own data. That rule is applied uniformly across SweetNote’s own dashboards and reports. (The one exception is the opt-in, DPA-gated recipient-level export, which returns the brand its own pseudonymous row-level engagement data — per-recipient facts, not computed rates — and is not a SweetNote analytical surface.) What you get: meaningful cohort insight without the data-access risk that gets companies in front of regulators. The optional Outcome KPI follows the same rule: per-recipient conversion amounts are discarded on ingestion, and only the per-cell aggregate is stored, with the n ≥ 25 floor enforced before any Outcome cell is displayed. (Integrations you opt into, your CRM, webhook destinations, forward per-recipient activity to your own tools keyed by an anonymous code; that's your data flowing through us to your destinations, not SweetNote exposing identity in our output.)

A Note from the Founder

It started as personalized cookies. The first version printed messages directly onto the shortbread, lovely in spirit, a hassle in practice. The fix: keep the gift physical, move the message digital. That insight became the architecture SweetNote ships today, brands give recipients QR codes on whatever they're already shipping, and the reveal page does the message.

The pivot felt simple enough that I assumed brands had to be doing this already. They weren't. Digital attention is collapsing, email opens, ad recall, organic reach all trending the wrong direction, and brands are turning back to physical moments to reach real people. But no platform existed that did both, opened the channel AND produced the research. There was no name for the discipline, no playbook for the methodology, no platform that did the work end-to-end.

So I named it and built it. Behavioral Brand Moment Research™BBMR™, the technical name for what SweetNote measures: how your gifted moments land with real recipients, captured at the moment of contact, aggregate-only in our own output. You don't need to know the term to use the platform, it's just our shorthand for the methodology. is observed action at the point of contact, captured under disclosed methodology, on channels the brand controls. My background is in market research, where stated-preference data has always bothered me, what people say diverges reliably from what they do, and the gap isn't noise, it's structural. BBMR™ closes that gap by measuring the moment itself, with consent.

Integrity is the standard the data has to clear. Intentionality is how we get there.

Continuity · for procurement reviewers

  • Code, data, and infrastructure are version-controlled and portable. Tenant data exports on demand (Excel workbook, with the read API for campaigns and outcomes) per the DPA. Reveal pages and dashboard run on Supabase + Netlify.
  • Published list pricing, the same for every brand. Per-study, no subscription, no public discount tiers, same list price at the same study size. QR codes generate at commercial commitment (card authorization, or invoice countersignature); reveal pages go live on the brand's scheduled activation date, once the study is paid. Terms are standardized across every customer. Funding posture is shared in writing on request.
  • If the company is acquired or its assets transitioned, brands receive 90 days' notice before the assignment takes effect, with full data export per the DPA in any case. The clause is in the MSA before signing.

Ready when you are.

The fastest way to evaluate fit is to sign up free and scope your first study, or dig into the methods behind it. Both self-serve, both one clicktap. The procurement bundle covers your team's hard questions in writing.
